Using registration marks for UP3I synchronization

Do this procedure to define or specify registration marks used for UP3I device synchronization. Use the Edit window to change the size and location of the mark.

When using the UP3I registration mark, a black rectangular mark is printed at the location specified in the Edit window. This mark is used to ensure the pages are synchonized as they are processed by the UP3I devices. The mark is printed after events such as a paper jam to help ensure page synchronization.

Registration marks are placed relative to the physical edge of the form to allow printing the mark in the tractor strips on tractored forms. The marks are printed in the same location on tractorless forms.
