Switching from duplex to dual simplex mode

  1. Select Stop to stop the printer.
  2. Select Printer Definition -> Printer -> Basic.
  3. Select Simplex for Printer Mode.
  4. Select OK.
  5. Restart the printer, if instructions to do so are given after selecting OK.
    The changes you have made won't take effect until you have restarted the printer. If you make other configuration changes they only apply to the mode you were in before you changed.
  6. To remove any forms still in the printer, see Clearing the forms path.
  7. Load paper and load Snapshots in both printers for dual simplex operation (see Loading forms--auto load (dual simplex mode) and Snapshots).
  8. Select Start.
    <85>For printers with microcode levels, version 11.6.128 and higher, both printers and attached pre and postprocessing equipment can be started from the main panel of the printer console and the printer operator panels. Visually assure that no other personnel are working on the system before starting the system.
